No 57. Extremely comfortable 2 bedroom townhouse. Well equipped kitchen. Lounge with Netflix and free wifi. Located in a safe and secure complex right on the beach. Swimming pool and clubhouse (not sea facing). You need to drive into the main area of Hermanus. We did not feel happy driving through that area at night. Industrial area and township on the one side. Can use a quieter road away from township to get into the town. The agent was amazing and accommodation was very good value for money. Slight Seaview but house is a few meters on pathway to the beach. Saw whales from the pathway

Situated between a township and industrial fishing complex, this high security complex includes 24 hour guards and electrical fences with a lovely pool and ocean views. Waterfront walks are interrupted by abalone fishing run off and algae pools which often smell quite bad. The units, built over 30 years ago, remain in their original form with dated fittings and furnishings. Most kitchens are old and rusting and appliances from the 80‘s. But the ocean view is stunning if you’re lucky to be looking at it from a room which doesn’t stink from urine soaked carpets. If you like to walk in the evening you’ll find about 200m of roadway you can safely explore.

Nothing what we hoped for. Smelly, old, rusty apartment. Not clean at all. Locations sucks as well, right in the middle of an industrial farm and a township. Host was friendly and helpful, but we had the worst experience so far on our trip. Also way too small for a group of 4 persons and a baby. I specifically asked if it would fit, but it didnt. No airconditioning as well... Wouldn't recommend.
