Can't say enough. Seriously, one of the most peaceful, beautiful, quaint, magical places ever. I've been dreaming of visiting Ireland for 40+ years. We were instantly charmed when we got the directions from Paul. "Halfway through town, stone house with a gray door. Knock. " I mean, come on! And then the first morning, we were sitting in the garden, enjoying the beautiful morning, the birds, the wind in the trees, the smell of lavender.... and then the church bells. I couldn't even. Happy crying. Seriously, it was the most joyful tears, the entire visit. The welcome from Karin, the beautiful accommodation, the fresh baked bread, the lovely village, Hickey's Pub.... You must do the Silvermines Mtn hike. The MOST incredible, Irish views. There is also a lovely little forest walk one street over and an old church and graveyard that we only found as we were leaving. Truly, the most lovely of lovely accommodation. Book it. It's clean and comfy and the map drawer is a goldmine.
We have stayed in lovely cottages 3 times and always enjoyed our stay very much and wished we could have extended and stayed longer. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Paul and Karin and it’s an amazing place to stay in this part of Tipperary!
