6 Columbus Central Park Hotel

You cannot beat the quality or location of this hotel for the price. My daughter & I stayed in a Studio King and it was amazing. We had a nice balcony that overlooked Central Park & The Museum of Art & Design, you could sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine, or at sunrise with your coffee, just lovely. It also had the softest most comfortable bed, and the room was huge (400 sq. ft) with ample closet and drawer space for our 5 day stay. The bathroom was large with a deep soaking tub and had great shower pressure. The location, omgosh, is perfect, a 2 minute walk to Central Park, the subway is across the street, great shopping & restaurants all over the neighborhood, Starbucks next door, great sushi restaurant in the lobby, and you're walking distance to a lot of central locations. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very professional. I'm really glad we found this treasure of a hotel, and we've already booked another stay this winter. We can't wait to go back!

Room was spacious but very dimly lit. Big enough that we could set up our pack n play for our toddler next to the bed. Their fridge is fully stocked with their own drinks but thankfully it’s not those electronic ones that bill your room when you move things around. We had to take some of their drinks out so we could store our babies milk. Docked a star off because this is not a wheelchair/stroller friendly hotel. There are only steps that go up to the hotel. No ramp so if you are in a wheelchair, this may not be for you. We had a travel stroller with us and between two adults, we just lifted the stroller up the 2-3 steps to get in.

The location of this hotel was amazing. It was worth it to stay here. Our room was small. I didn't mind this as much, I just wish there had been some kind of seating in our room, like a small table and chair. That being said, they do offer different rooms to choose from. I noticed some people complain that it is dark, but I actually liked that aspect. It felt like a moody European hotel with a small room. Again, the location and the price were pretty awesome. Totally worth it for us and we would consider staying there again.
