Great place to stay, rooms are tidy and comfy enough for the reasonable price. The staff were really friendly and professional, they quickly sorted out a tricky issue for us and even gave us complimentary milkshakes. Which leads me neatly on to the real star, the diner! It is wonderful. The food either for breakfast or dinner is amazing. Milkshakes are insanely good. Great burgers with a fantastic build your own burger menu. The diner is so authentic. It even had cherry pie... Damn fine!

Now this is a really tricky review... the restaurant itself was brilliant, decor was unique and authentic 50s American diner style so appearance fantastic. And the staff were very polite, helpful and well turned out. However, the food was average... our party had two breaded chicken burgers, half rack or ribs and a children's cheese burger. The ribs tasted like there was something missing and were rated just ok. The chicken burgers were quite bland, with a slightly odd twang I couldn't put my finger on. The desserts looked lovely but with a baby in tow we couldn't stay to try them. So mixed reviews, I so wanted the place to be brilliant, but I was an little disappointed 😕 also the ladies toilets wouldn't flush 😯 so they weren't very welcoming to say the least!

Food was very average and very over priced. Staff where better than previous visits. Staff are unfortunately not very friendly but the service was ok. I had a southern fried chicken burger which was average. Chips where excellent (the best bit) and the coke was a bit flat (too much syrup I think). Would unfortunately not go again after this experience. My previous experiences have all been pretty poor and this visit reminded me why I never go. It's sad as it has the potential to be great. Also I find the music is always to loud and that's coming from a 30 year old! Can't chat with friends which is half the reason for going out to eat.
