8103 Wendover Dunes

We stayed using our timeshare service. The whole area is lovely and well maintained. The people are all friendly and most helpful. The room we stayed in is a bit long in the tooth but still acceptably nice and clean and well maintained. Local activities are numerous and there are plenty of very good places to dine and others to go shopping. Highly recommended.

Staff could not be nicer. Erik is very knowledgeable. Our unit had been refurbished and was nice. It is an older resort with amazing mature trees. Deer galore walking around. If you enjoy pickle ball or tennis, this is your place. Pretty walk to beach. beach.

Just came back and had to leave early due to Hurricane Debby and how bad the unit was. Check in lady was very nice. However everything was dated - felt like I stepped back into the 80s - unit was not clean - dead bugs on the floor and mosquitos flying all inside. Not sure why we were placed in a cottage (very small unit) where the kitchenette was not usable. Couldn't even wash a pan (pictures below). Living Rm/Kitchen was very tight. We called to see if housekeeping would come by and clean up the dead bugs on the floor and no one ever came by. My kids got plenty of mosquito bites inside the unit- saw a roach and after 2 of 7 days had to leave - this was my only vacation for the rest of the year and thought it would be at least a nice week. Not going back again.
