Based in beautiful countryside. Comfortable rooms, friendly attentive staff, excellent varied food menus, including packed lunches for days out. Ideal for walking and cycling holidays either groups, couples or solos.
It is a very big house, there were 70 guests and like most HF houses nicely run. The bedding makes the bed uncomfortably hot so ask for a thin sheet and use it with the blanket instead of the duvet.
This was my first visit to this HF Holiday hotel. Panoramic views from the restaurant. Great use of mirrors, so even with your back to the view, you can see everything. Usual good standard of food. Many choices for breakfast, good choices for your packed lunch, and a 3 course evening meal to round the day off. Quiz and skittle nights. Lovely walks
