A CASA Rubin Chalet & Studio Resort

Pretty nice place to stay at Sölden. But there are some things to consider before booking. We lived at Top 2 apartment. This one has two bedrooms, one with a terrace, another one with its own bathroom. Theres is a second bathroom in the hallway. There would be a beautiful view from the terrace but there is a construction site just in front of you. Yep, you see mountains and ski resort, but the construction work spoils the view. I guess it isn’t gonna take long to be finished, but you have to keep it in mind. Moreover, the view from another bedroom was, well, bad. All we could see is a concrete wall and a driveway. If I had to rate the view at that particular apartment, I would have rated it at 3 no more. Another thing is a Wi-Fi. It’s slow, really slow. It was like 5 Mbs or something. Also keep in mind that mobile data is pretty bad up there either (at least it was for me). Let’s start with good things we have experienced. At first, the room was new and clean. It felt very fresh. The kitchen was well equipped, with many tools you might need. There is also a public sauna. But I didn’t really get the working hours. It was displayed that the sauna works from Thu till Sat, but it operated Tue too. We went there, met many people who also decided to enjoy it. Anyway, if the sauna is closed at Rubin Studios, you can go to Saphir or Kristal. The saunas operate daily there. There is even a swimming pool! Location is pretty nice. Yes, it’s a couple of kilometres away from Sölden itself and the ski resort, but if you have a car you will easily get there just in minutes. The reception desk is located in the city centre. Again, if you’ve got a car there is no problem for you. We went there just after skiing to ask some questions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Speaking of porks you will be given 10% off when renting ski equipment at Intersport. Nice little touch. Overall experience is great. Let’s see if I will be charged for a cleaning fee everyone’s talking here in comments. I would recommend this place, but also check out for alternatives if there are some.

Very clean place with an amazing view, an appartement block where you fine peace, silence and you can really relax and forget about everything with a very small but nice wellness zone I really recommend it!

Wir waren im Spätsommer 2020 in einem der Studios zu Gast. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft auch empfehlen. Pluspunkte: Sauberkeit, gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, großes Studio, Freundliche Rezeption, Lage Negativpunkte: Den Terrassenbereich teilt man sich mit weiteren Gäste, so dass theoretisch in das Schlafzimmer geschaut werden kann; abends haben sich die Außenleuchten der Terrasse automatisch angeschaltet und damit war es im Schlafzimmer trotz Verdunklungsvorhang recht hell. Insgesamt eher hellhörig. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Terrassenbereich mit Trennwänden ausstatten, Außenlampen ausschalten, Wohnung noch ausstatten mit: Seife, Spüllappen, Backpapier oder Auflaufform und Wäscheständer;
