We had the best time camping here. We loved all the activities they offered, and the location couldn't be beat. The campground was so large, but the sites were very well spread out, so you didn't feel cramped in like cattle. The other campers were all very quiet and respectful too. We were given a heads up that a large family gathering was staying near us and they planned to stay up after quiet hours to sing around the fire. I was a little worried after the warning, but had no reason to be. After camping at state campgrounds I expected a large and loud, rowdy bunch, but that's not at all what we got. The group, along with all the other campers we i teracted with, were very respectful of their neighbors and made it a very welcoming and enjoyable experience. Bonus: I would venture to say they also had the cleanest bathrooms and showers we've come across camping yet.

We reserved three sites this past weekend. This would be our third time coming here, and I can’t wait to come back. It is a beautiful campground with plenty of activities for all ages. Having warm showers, and a place to wash your dishes are just the right amenities without making it feel like a resort. Although it was a little cold for a swim. The lake never disappoints for a nice sunset photo or a volleyball match. Thank you LMFC!!

They don’t allow music at your campsite, also there were no lights(even dim string lights) on after 11pm. We were tripping over stuff trying to go to the bathroom at night. We had music playing (Bob Seger) and were told to turn it off, and then we listened to a campsite near us with 20 people yelling and laughing obnoxiously for 2 hours up until quiet time. Which is fine, it’s not quiet time, but how can that noise be ok, but a little music is not? And then a church group plugged in an amp and played guitar and sung where you could hear it throughout the park, just weird. All in all a good stay, people(even the director that got on us about the music) were all very nice, especially the woman in the front office. The best part about this place was the incredible amount of fireflies. All in all a good stay, but the music thing is just beyond ridiculous, so that is why I have to give it only 2 stars.
