A One Bangkok Hotel

We stayed here due to its location being super close to Bangkok Hospital. I was confused after reading the reviews here, the negative ones are not correct and the hotel is very fresh, colourful and new after the renovation last year. They offered shuttle services to the hospital which made life easier for us. If not the hospital, we had to always use Grab to move around. One 7-Eleven is around (2 mins walk). Most staffs are friendly, however some requires more training. Breakfast was average, nothing special. Gym was excellent. Overall, it was a good experience.

Overall, it’s an okay hotel. The best thing about it is definitely the value for money — especially if you skip the breakfast, which honestly isn’t worth it. The rooms were fine, nothing special. The hotel was under renovation when I stayed, so that affected the overall experience a bit. The location is good if you need to visit Bangkok Hospital or other nearby clinics, or if you're planning a night out at RCA. But it’s quite far from most other main landmarks in the city. One pleasant surprise was the gym on the fifth floor — really impressive compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in Bangkok, even those with a higher rating. I'd say the gym is one of the hotel's best features.

This hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are spacious and the staff are very generous and helpful. The only downfall is that this hotel is in a very very bad location. Pretty much can’t walk anywhere outside and there aren’t any sidewalks so you have to take your taxi everywhere. However, there is a free shuttle to the hospital and a 7-Eleven right across the street. Also, great gym and pool!
