Absolutely a great place to stay. Has everything you can ask for. We got married this past weekend in Fanø, and the hotel added even more to our special weekend. The restaurant at the top of the building with a great view and amazing food. Last but the most important thing is the wonderful and super helpful staff. It wouldn't be as good as it was without them. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.

Breakfast at the hotel offers an unforgettable experience, mainly due to the exceptional service. The lady serving the meals is always smiling and ready to help, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Another advantage is the restaurant’s location on the 17th floor, offering a breathtaking view of the coastline, the port, and the iconic statues of the city. It’s a place where you can enjoy not only the taste but also the view. The breakfast offer is quite varied, with the option to make your own waffle, which is a great plus. You can also create your own dish from a variety of ingredients, offering some freedom. Unfortunately, the quality of these ingredients leaves much to be desired. The grilled bacon that can be added to the scrambled eggs appears to be of poor quality, as if they add new layers to it every day. The scrambled eggs, made from powder, taste artificial and are practically inedible. The sausages served have such tough skins that they might be difficult for older people to chew. Additionally, the coffee served at breakfast is instant coffee, tasting like a stale carton. In today’s times, serving freshly ground espresso coffee should be a standard in hotels. A hotel with such a beautiful location and exceptional service definitely needs to improve the quality of its breakfast. Expanding the breakfast menu with fresh, local ingredients and ensuring better quality ingredients would undoubtedly make this place more attractive to guests.

The Hotel looks special and the rooms feel quite hightened, but there were some things that bothered me quite a lot. Service wise, they advertise that for ecological reasons they only clean every third day, but you can request everyday cleaning service. However, we had to remind them on the fourth day to actually do so. The restaurant staff was very good. The bar and restaurant did have good food and drinks. Location wise, due to the closeness to the port there were a lot of unpleasent smells. Esbjerg itself does not have a lot of attractions, but the city center was quite cute and had some nice restaurant options.
