Booked into this hotel through Agoda, can say that it is not in the centre of Lang Son as described. On arrival the receptionist was quite rude to my wife, speaking down to her and was not helpful at all. I note that other reviews state that foreigners don't appear to be welcome here and I did indeed get that impression. Room was adequate and appeared somewhat clean but other than that would not recommend this hotel at all.
Unpleasant staff right from first contact. No warm greeting, smile or pleasantries however very friendly to fellow Vietnamese guests whom was spoken to during my checkin??? "Breakfast included" means pho (only) although not stipulated on any website and when queried was told "No! That's all that is offered". I'm not ostentatious but appreciate courtesy and friendliness rather than being looked down upon and scolded. Disappointed.
