Best thing in the hotel, the view from our room, and the location. The disadvantages: The duvet was longer than the duvet cover, which l find disgusting. To reach the reception you need to climb long stairs. We happened to stay there when the municipality had some works and cut the water for more than 12 hours, the hotel personnel did not keep us aware of the situation and we kept asking them for water bottles. Then we had to cancel the rest of our stay and they were kind enough to refund us for the remaining days. The hotel needs to be handled more professionally.
I had a very disappointing experience at A11 Hotel. The receptionist was rude and unwelcoming. After signing all the paperwork for the Comfort Room I booked, I was suddenly told that the room was not available and was forced to take a room with a jacuzzi at an additional cost! Why allow bookings for rooms that you don’t actually have available? Even though the room was ready, they refused to let us in, using “cleaning” as an excuse for over 3 hours. On top of that, we were disturbed by phone calls at 11 AM, even though checkout time is 12 PM. This was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Do not go here!!! Extremely overpriced, you are only paying for the view, it’s not worth it at all. We had booked to stay for 2 nights but checked out after only 1 as we were so underwhelmed. -Bed was massive but uncomfortable and only provided with a tiny single duvet for 2 people to sleep in a super kingsize bed. Our feet were sticking out the bottom of the duvet. -no food available as there is no chef - no WiFi -both of us woke up in the middle of the night extremely cold, and the tiny blanket didn’t help keep us warm. -no offer of anyone to bring bags to rooms, there is a lot of stairs in some places and no lifts for certain areas. -no towel rail in bathroom - room was not cleaned and room and towels smelled musty. -staff not particularly friendly or welcoming We stay regularly in Istanbul and there are a lot of better hotels for less money than this place.
