A11 Hotel Obaköy Alanya

We stayed at the hotel three weeks ago. Overall, for the price, it was a good choice. The location is excellent – very close to the sea. The food was tasty and varied, and there was a good selection of alcoholic drinks as well. One of the highlights was the amazing animation team – evenings were fun and lively, and the staff were all very friendly. However, there were a few downsides. Communication at the reception was difficult, and we were only given one key card. There weren’t enough towels, and the cleanliness could definitely be improved. During our stay, construction work was being done on a new pier at the beach, which caused a lot of noise and unpleasant smells. This kind of work should really be done outside of the holiday season.. In summary – a decent option if you’re looking for a good value stay, but there’s room for improvement.

It is a nice hotel near the central, near the sea, it is really nice, but those who work there, I really give them 3 or 2 out of ten. Regarding the bar, from the first day to the last day, I did not see anyone smile or say a nice word like “here you go.” Regarding the drink, there are plastic cups, no games, the rooms are cleaned once every 3 days, and I always look for something that is not available in the room, such as a towel. I hope that what I wrote is looked at. Thank you.

The hotel is in need of major refurbishments. So many damages i.e holes in the walls and ceilings, damaged lights, door/window handles broken, shower head chrome wearing away and broken shower holder, curtains broken, tv didnt work and ink on sheets to list a few issues! Air conditioning was perfect. That was the only modern thing. The Room we had was very spacious (family room) but was on the opposite side of the street (seperate building) literally from the restaurant, private beach & evening entertainment which was disappointing. Lights in the corridors to rooms and outdoor toilets lights on the family pool side didnt work so a lot was done in darkness. The family side building was definitely not maintained and definitely not 4 star, it seems the main priority was for the couples accomadation across the road. Hotel cleanliness was fine generally and cleaning was offered every day. Food was good. Decent variety of choices to eat with hard working staff to help. Not much to do around the location of the hotel other than walk along the beach and be hustled by the tourists scavengers! Pools with the slides were unstaffed so if you wanted a beverage or a pool snack/food you would need to the cross the street to the other hotel building to the big pool side to help yourself. This side had music and loads of staff around. For the price we payed I did expect more comfort than what my family experienced. 2 Stars unfortunately
