When I chose this hotel is because it near opera, where our daily tour meet point. My room is so quiet and beds are so comfortable. Not mention breakfast is delicious and nuitrition balanced. And every day has something new. The young lady even found the recipe of Goergia tridional dish.
Centrally located and clean. But the price doesn't necessarily match the service quality. You can't get your own coffee at breakfast, and there is only cold milk to add. And the coffee tastes like a mixture of plastic and bakelite. Housekeeping comes late in the afternoon, so it isn't necessarily convenient. Since Tbilisi is such a green city, there were lots of bugs and mosquitoes in the room, which could use a screen door. Staff is untrained and while not necessarily rude, they are cold. You can probably find cheaper options in the Old Town.
This hotel has been documented and confirmed as a base for special forces. Security agents come to the hotel to plan violent assaults against peaceful protesting civilians. Its management is fully aware and has welcomed it.
