This was easily the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The absolute stillness and beauty of the location - the sounds, bird and atmosphere of the forest were unparalleled and we stayed at many other highly rated properties. But it was the thought and detail in the room design and finishing and the absolutely natural yet 5 star service that also differentiated it from everywhere else. We will definitely return for a much longer stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at Aarunya Nature Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The name “Aarunya” means “First Ray of Sun,” and the resort absolutely lives up to this concept. Waking up to the very first rays of sunlight streaming directly into our villa, while still cozy in bed, was magical—the attached photo captures that serene moment perfectly. The atmosphere at Aarunya is incredibly calm and relaxing, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The spa treatments were outstanding, with professional therapists using international techniques that left us feeling rejuvenated. The culinary experience was another highlight. The food was delicious, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes, which were bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared.
