AB Paluso Retreat@Lake Mabprachan Pattaya

The people that run the hotel are one of the nicest people you will meet. They treated me like a good friend and were always attentive to my requests. It is a family feel place and I appreciate these rare types of businesses. The location is in a quiet area. So you will sleep soundly. But it is about 20 minutes out to pattaya beach, the malls, and city life. If you are getting a taxi. Some get lost due to the location requiring you to enter a small entry way. Be sure to direct them towards the specific location and inform them of the hotel name. They sometimes mistake it for another hotel nearby. The room I was in was spacey and the bed was comfortable. The floor was good and the lights worked without problems. But the shower was clogging for a bit towards the latter of my 30 day stay. The rest of the bathroom was fine. Sinks, toilet, etc. My overall summary is that this is a nice quiet area to stay. The family that run the hotel are very friendly and attentive. I recommend staying at this hotel.

Nice little resort, has swimming pool, gym, bar, restaurant and spa. Rooms basic but ok, we stayed in a standard room, which has a little garden area outside to sit. Booked the same day on Expedia and they were not aware of our booking on arrival, this might explain why room not stocked with tea or coffee. Food was very tasty and reasonable prices for food and drink. So overall a pleasant stay. Simple breakfast offered.

Did not get the pool view room I booked. Bed was extremely hard, only 1 pillow per person. No coffee, cups in room. Aircon barely worked. No hot water tap in hand basins.Breakfast was cold eggs or asian food. Refurbishing, drilling noise started on next room early on Sunday morning. Entire bar, entertainment area closed for renovation. However pool is lovely and dinner was simple but tasty.
