Abacus Tierpark Hotel Berlin

Great option for the money. We got an upgrade to a studio room in the 10th floor with a nice view on the green neighbourhood. The hotel is quite big but it was silent, the only noise you can hear is from the road if the room is facing that side. Wasn't too disturbing anyway. Good location away from the centre, 5 min walk to Tiergarten U-Bahn station. Quiet friendly green neighbourhood, boxy architecture. If you want to flee the downtown chaos and pay under 100€ per night, definitely recommend. The room was very spacious, big windows, clean. What else do you need.

Nice hotel and good servic. But I really miss AC in the room now when it is so hot. It is not enough opening windows. We payed extra for a larger room and expected it to have AC.

Average hotel. If you get here bt Google maps, you will get lost, use Apple maps! Also, the gym hours are very unfriendly for people coming from different time zones. I asked the girl at check in what time they closed, she said 10 or 11. I went down at 9:30 ish one night, and they told me it was closed for cleaning. Very disappointed. Took me one day to adjust to the jet lag, and I only chose this place for the fitness center. Do yourself a favor, and stay at the Holiday inn express where they have everything walking distance and free breakfast! Everything at Abacus is EXTRA! 20 euros for the sauna, 21 for thr breakfast, and the gym closes at 9:30, and the staff doesn't know anything. I can live with the no A/C because I don't get hot easy and the weather is actually good. But, disappointed that this isn't a tourist friendly hotel. NO VIEWS anywhere!!!
