Staying at Abaetetuba Pousada was nothing short of a dream. From the very first moment, Luisa and Vittorio, the warm and gracious owners, made us feel more like cherished guests than travelers. Their love for the pousada — and for creating a space of peace, comfort, and connection — is evident in every detail. Luisa and Vittorio's attention always seemed to appear at just the right moment with helpful tips or a fresh coconut in hand. The rooms are bright, airy, and immaculately clean, with ocean breezes drifting in through wide windows and the soothing sound of waves as your nightly lullaby. Our stay came complete with a hammock and postcard-worthy views of the beach — the perfect place to unwind with a book or watch the sky turn gold at sunset. Mornings at Abaetetuba began with a truly memorable breakfast: ripe tropical fruit, homemade cakes, strong Italian cappuccino coffee, and Luisa’s freshly prepared yoghurt that quickly became a highlight of our day. Each meal felt like a celebration of local flavor and warmth. But what truly sets Abaetetuba apart is the atmosphere Luisa and Vittorio have created — equal parts tranquil escape and heartfelt welcome. Whether you're exploring nearby trails, relaxing on the golden sand, or sipping on caipirinhas at twilight, there’s a sense of peace and belonging here that’s hard to describe and even harder to leave. We left not just refreshed, but inspired — and already planning our return. Abaetetuba Pousada isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place to be. A full five stars. Pousada boa, confortável e silenciosa. O proprietário pode melhorar com a flexibilidade nos horários, como por exemplo, servir o cafe da manhã um pouco mais cedo para quem sai mais cedo para ir ao aeroporto (distante da cidade), sem engessar os horarios estabelecidos. Isto faz o atendimento ser mais acolhedor por parte da administração.

My husband and I are visitors in another property in São Miguel dos Milagres. We took the day to visit beach’s near by and we went to Toque Beach. There were super muddy roads and we stopped by Vitorio’s pousada to check if the pousada had a restaurant with access to the beach to spend the day. Vitório was very rude to us, and sent us off with a frown and a curse. Thankfully we stopped by the pousada Wassu, just down his road, and the attendant, courteously explained about Beach access and restaurant availability. Vitório, decided to be in hospitality and doesn’t seem to know the meaning of the word. We will be back at pousada Wassu to stay, but Abaetetuba will never see my money.
