The location is probably the main good thing about this hotel. It’s right on the beach, and the beach and water are great. Outdated facilities can have some charm, but the service ruins everything. I travel with two children, and it’s clear they are not welcome here. This is especially noticeable after living in the States, where children are welcomed everywhere. Maybe it’s as standard in Italy as paid beach beds, but receiving complaints at every step is very unpleasant and tiring. I didn’t encounter this in other countries and even in other places in Italy though. But I didn’t stay in other places for so long. So I really hope it’s not about the country. It’s difficult for parents to travel with children; you need a lot of patience and focus, and if you feel not support but hostility from the staff, the vacation becomes a big disappointment. I left a week earlier. It could be more pleasant for child-free people here. The rooms are okay for the price and clean. The food selection in the restaurant is mediocre, but acceptable. WiFi is very slow. The view from the room and the garden are great.
The property is slightly dated but still has charm, all of the facilties are pleasant, good breakfast, right on the beach, nice pool, free parking, we were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the room.
I wouldn’t recommend going here, it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room and the hotel looks like it’s still in the 70s. The bed is made out of springs and is so hard that we had bruises when we woke up! The beach is nice but you can use the beach loungers only until 4 pm and then they will put them away. Not to mention that they also cost something at a “4 star” hotel. You also have to pay extra for beach towels and water is like 2,50€ for small bottle when it’s 0,25ct in the next supermarket. For breakfast it’s possible to sit outside, but for dinner we were told to sit inside so the waiters don’t have to walk that far ( it’s literally 10 meters and the weather was too nice to sit inside). The variety for breakfast is so small and once something is finished they usually don’t bring it out again. For example one time all of the croissants were finished and they didn’t have any more, so there was only one type of bread left. And also watch out, they want 3.10€ for every day, that your room is being cleaned. I mean it’s obviously not a lot, but it would be nice to know beforehand or to have the option of not getting your room cleaned every day. The people at the reception are kind of nice tho and it’s usually pretty clean!
