Abarin Hotel

The hotel room was on the top floor in the corner so the ceiling was slanted and cut off a bit of room space. There is a path out the back so you can walk to the town center where all the shops and restaurants are. The internet here was free and relatively fast. The breakfast offered a good selection and was replenished quickly by the staff. The town of Baden Baden is great for playing ingress as there are like 60 portals.

We checked in at this hotel and had our credit card charged. Then we went up to the room and discovered it had not been cleaned (towels on the floor, bed not made, trash left in the room from previous guest). We informed the gentleman at the front desk he gave us another room, but we checked this one and again it was in similar condition plus there was mold growing above the shower in the bathroom. We then explained to the man at the front desk that we wanted to cancel and he told us he did not know how to do a refund. So we will have to dispute the charge via our credit card company. After several good experiences at hotels and guesthouses while traveling around Germany this was the only bad one.
