We found this to be a great family hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, serviced every day and meticulously clean. Restaurant was excellent, great choice and very good value. Mini bus too and from the ski lifts, boot and ski room - all very good
Location is great and the breakfast buffet was really good. But that’s about that this hotel has going for it. It’s turned into a hotel for student ski weeks (must have been 100 high schoolers there), the hotel is old and totally outdated. The “spa” is a joke - it’s small pool that is luke warm and a hot tub that hasn’t worked in ages. The staff is lovely and very customer oriented - but if you want a 4 star experience go to Hotel Sno Aragon. Oh … and if you stay in Formigal make reservations for dinner well in advance. The few restaurants that are there don’t have space for walk-ins. Enjoy the fabulous skiing!!
Smelly and noisy rooms. Rude and unprepared staff, reception and van drivers, but specially at the restaurant. No bed linen changing for a full week. No bar service duting a whole week, at any time. This hotel corresponds to an average 2* hotel. To avoid.
