Came here for a wedding and the setting was incredible! A beautiful building with a lovely atmosphere! The rooms were nice and big, and location to everything else in the town was ideal! I will be coming again!

Shocking and disgraceful behavior from the staff at Palacio de Soñanes on July 13th around 12:00 PM. We were calmly walking through the gardens and, since it is also a hotel, we stepped into the hall to briefly see the interior. We were with our two small children — one in arms, the other by the hand — completely respectful, not disturbing anyone. Within seconds, a receptionist rushed over and abruptly kicked us out, speaking to us in a rude, dismissive tone as if we had no right to be there. Ironically, we were actually considering staying at this hotel — which is quite affordable — but after being treated so poorly, there’s no chance we would ever do so. It’s unbelievable that a place trying to sell itself as a welcoming hotel would behave this way toward potential guests. Beautiful building? Yes. But behind that facade lies a stunning lack of hospitality, basic courtesy, and professionalism. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place if you expect to be treated with even a minimum level of respect.

Arrived and was told that I didn't have a booking, so I had to show my email confirmation. I was then thrown a set of keys and told my room was upstairs. At no point was I told anything about the hotel ie what time breakfast was or where it was also no mention of what to do for an evening meal. We ventured to the reception/bar at 20.30hrs to find the resteraunt was closed and no one at the bar. We asked the staff at reception for a drink and asked what time breakfast is served, Eventually once the receptionist put their phone down we got an answer. Headed down to the lovely local bars for food and a beer. Why employ staff that clearly don't want to do their job. Let's see how breakfast goes in the morning.
