Abbázia Club Hotel Kék

I really enjoyed my stay at the Club Hotel, the room I was in was nice and cozy. Because it was in the main Part of the hotel I had no problem locating the pool or difficulties finding out where the breakfast was. Although I never checked it out, because I had everything I needed in my room. The pool area is very nice and had a good cooling temperature. The staff were nice and the service they provided was exactly what I expected. The hotel is right next to this beautiful park and near the Balaton, so I can absolutely recommend staying here. For the price you totally get everything.

The hotel is a bit old and decor maybe outdated but I was not bothered. The location is excellent, next to a park with many restaurants nearby and 2 right at the doorstep. The lake, the palace and markets are all a short walk, 10-15 minutes maximum. The rooms were very clean, a mini kitchen sufficient for making meals, plus microwave and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable with extra blankets. The windows were a little squeky but a needed to open them as there is no fan or airconditioner. It was still cool in May when I stayed, but I can see how it may get too hot in the summer without ventilation. Maybe they can offer fans in the hot months. Everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Milan, the young man who checked us in was very kind and most hospitable. The wifi worked fine. Breakfast is available but you have to reserve the night before. There is an espresson machine at the front desk and they also sell some drinks. A great stay over all.

Very good, well situated. A bit older and had to manually log in for wifi every time.
