Abha Crown Hotel

It’s not four star hotel because all furniture are old. But Great location.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the disappointment began. Our group (5 pax) traveled to Abha hoping for a good stay. Our trip was met with several hindrances, however hoping that the travel ordeal would stop at the hotel was an overly optimistic view. The first day, we arrived at 3:30 am due to the bad weather and roadblocks. Upon arrival we were met with staff who did not want to take our requests and once they did accept them they did them with snide remarks. Typically if you see 5 people arrive, any other hotel would gladly and proactively arrange for fresh towels and blankets for their guests, however this was not done until we asked and still we met with objections. The rooms and the washroom were highly claustrophobic. The window latch in one of the rooms was broken, and the tubs in the washrooms had cracks. On the second day when we arrived back at the room we found that the turndown service was not provided and only post checking did we get to know that we had to request for it. To add to this the staff was very rude in explaining the concept and went on to lecture us about how hotels in Abha work. In the third day of our stay, after the request of the turndown service, the towels were not replenished. This as well was only executed once we asked for extra towels and then staff were very hesitant to help. In all my stays at hotels across the Middle East, this would be the only time where I preferred staying outside the hotel than within it. The only respite of all the trouble was that once the turndown service were provided the staff performed their duties well. I will not be staying at this hotel and I will not recommend anyone to stay here. The price of this hotel does not even come close to justifying its service.

Bad service, we were standing at the gate of our room and the key doesnt work, the staff was soo rude I hated it. I am with family and he was being rude. So sad Washroom was dirty and extremely small. There was not a single bottle of water in the room. I asked for it and they said you have to buy it!! What man at least give me one bottle of 0.5 SAR cant u afford that even? Is this the hospitality? Even mosques give free water and u cant provide to ur customers? Internet was also not working totally 😢😢😢totally NOT recommended
