Abigail's Hotel

Wow. This was an awesome stay larger room with fireplace & sitting area. Bathroom had a jetted tub & separate shower. Very nice. Breakfast was included & well worth it. Teas, coffee, juices, pastry, fruit & entree. Full meal! It was a few blocks out of town, but worth the walk to get out if the hubbub of the city. Nice outdoor sitting area & beautiful yard.

If Google would allow me to give 25 stars, I'd give it to Abigails. I am only one night into a four-night stay, but gonna review them now, because I am so happy. The place is so charming and comfortable and warm-feeling. The staff is friendly and fun. Easy to meet the other guests, if you wish, during the "snack time" in the library. Our room is beautiful, and we did not even spring for the nicer, "upscale" room. Sheets silky smooth, I had to find out who makes the sheets, I un-made the bed. Beautiful music on in the room when we entered; and temperature perfect. Super clean, Uber clean room. AND THE BEST: Breakfast this morning was FABULOUS: Cappacino, fresh fruit, chocolate croissant or cheddar cheese scone (croissant my choice: excellent!), smoked salmon omelet with cream cheese and plentiful avocado on the side, cranberry and orange juice. White tablecloth and cloth napkins, excellent sit-down service at garden window. Personable service from everyone we met. Husband said it was his favorite part of the day.

We booked this for our anniversary and it’s been a lovely, pleasant, and relaxing stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are exquisite, and it’s so peaceful. The staff are all wonderful, and the kitchen has been so accommodating for us for breakfast (we’re both vegan). A very lovely short walk into downtown, and the area around the hotel is so quiet. Would definitely come back here again!
