I had a wonderful experience at ABN Sarovar Portico. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the ever-smiling staff whose warmth and hospitality set a pleasant and welcoming tone for the entire stay. Their cheerful demeanor creates a positive and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel, making guests feel right at home. The housekeeping team deserves special appreciation — they are always on duty and consistently ensure that the hotel is spotless. Every corner of the property reflects their commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, which adds immensely to the overall comfort. One of the charming and unique features of the property is the presence of mango trees within the premises. While this adds a refreshing touch of nature to the surroundings, it also attracts monkeys from time to time. However, the hotel management has thoughtfully addressed this by assigning dedicated staff to ensure that guests are safe and undisturbed, allowing everyone to enjoy the environment worry-free. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and functionality. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, you’ll find everything you need for a pleasant stay. In conclusion, ABN Sarovar Portico is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience. The courteous staff, clean environment, natural setting, and well-appointed rooms come together to make your visit truly memorable and delightful. I highly recommend staying here — relax, enjoy, and let the positive vibes of this beautiful hotel make your stay unforgettable.
I visited ABN Sarovar Portico with my family during holi to celebrate my birthday. However the only problem was the approch road. It's a narrow road leading to a bit interior. The property though is huge, equipped with all the necessary facilities required for a great experience. The rooms are very hygienic and well-maintained with scenic view of the hotel. The food is extremely delicious and there's a wide variety to choose from. I would through suggest a-la-carte over the buffet. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. Mr. Chelrashpal (Executive Chef) has his expertise in the culinary world and that is evident in the lip -smacking food being constantly served. Ms. Mansi, managing the front desk of the restaurant is a very hardworking and helpful lady, ensuring everything runs smoothly with timely serving of orders. Mr. Mohit (Restaurant Staff) is very active with the guests and makes sure that the guests leave their table satisfied. His energy is joyous. Mr. Gaurav (Resturant Staff) is sweet and quite interactive with the guests which is again worth appreciating. Ms. Santoshi, member of the cleaning staff is very polite, friendly and sincere. Last but definitely not the least, the Hotel Manager, Mr. Somesh, who is attentive to all his guests made sure that I had a wonderful birthday and took care of the arrangements. Had a wonderful stay and these were some of the people who made my experience memorable and worth cherishing. Definitely a must visit if you want to spend some lovely and quiet time with you loved ones and enjoy some delicious food.
While ABN Sarovar Portico Jim Corbett is officially rated as a 4-star property, our recent stay left us feeling it falls short of this mark. The most noticeable area for improvement lies in the maintenance of the building. Doors felt worn and in need of repair, and bathroom fittings showed signs of age and neglect, tap was loose, which was disappointing for a property claiming a higher star rating. They did not come to clean the room or change towels on calling we were told yiu to request which was new for me. Service throughout our stay was consistently slow. Whether it was at the restaurant or for in-room requests, there was a noticeable delay in getting things done. The amenities, while present on paper, felt more like check-box items than genuinely well-maintained and functional offerings. For example, the gym, though equipped with two treadmills and an elliptical, lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to use, and only had a sparse selection of dumbbells. The children's play area was also quite small, and while the lawn offered some open space, it too suffered from a lack of proper upkeep. On a positive note, the food served at the hotel was genuinely good, offering a decent variety and taste. The staff, despite the slow service, were courteous and helpful, which was a redeeming factor. Overall, while the food and staff were commendable, the general upkeep of the property and the underwhelming amenities made it hard to justify its 4-star claim. With some dedicated maintenance and an improvement in service efficiency, this hotel has the potential to live up to its official rating.
