Had an amazing experience! Room was clean, comfortable and AC was cold. Appreciated the snacks provided, the pool was great for the kids and the gym is really nice with new equipment. But the best part? The Staff. Hands down some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a long while. Marquette at the street level and Nicole in the lobby consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! The housekeeping staff warm, friendly and prompt. Finally, very walkable area and steps from the redline. Park is a stones throw away and tons of good food options too. Short walk from Union Market, local shops and other high end shopping. This was a perfect spot for a 3 night mix of business & family trip, would definitely stay again! If you are sensitive to metro noise, ask for a high floor. We stayed on 8 and could only hear the whistle, not every train!

We had a delightful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Capitol Hill this past weekend. The room was comfortable and the staff was welcoming. We want to especially thank Marquette for his friendliness and hospitality. He was quick to recommend places to go and always greeted us with a friendly smile. We especially enjoyed the afternoon treats - ice cream on Thursday and popcorn on Friday - he planned which brightened the day. Little touches like that make a big difference in how a hotel is perceived, so he should be congratulated on doing it!

Great location period! The check in, maid service and maintenance team are top notch! Very friendly, welcoming. (lots of good mornings / hellos from them) The room? Not so great! Big burn hole on the sofa! Broken shower curtain rod. The rod is held on by one screw on each side. To top it off the TV is in such a horrible position, you cannot watch it from the bed unless you pull the dresser out away from the wall like I did. Bed is way too soft for my liking. Bad firmness is a personal opinion though.the room is very clean though and the maid service is great.
