Amazing hotel! The staff was very welcoming, especially our waiter. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! The breakfast in the morning was very good. The breakfast had eggs, cheese, bacon, ham, pastries, croissants, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee.

Great hotel, helpful staff who couldn't do enough. They even went out to get Gluten free bread for my wife for the next mornings breakfast. Restaurant staff were very good and food we had in the evening was very tasty. Breakfast was varied with some hot and cold options. The spa was open and as of writing availability was by booking when you're there. Nice to have the pool, sauna and Turkish bath just to ourselves for our 45 min slot, which we felt was enough. Room we had was spacious and modern. We had emailed the hotel in the week before asking about rooms which had just a shower instead of a bath and the reply was helpful. My inlaws got a free upgrade to an adapted room with a walk in shower, which was unexpected and made things easier for them. Overall a good stay and we would go back to explore more of the beautiful Serra da Estrela.
