I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely amazing. From the food and rooms to the service and hospitality, everything exceeded my expectations. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The first time I visited, I brought my kids, and they were treated with so much warmth—they loved it just as much as I did. For the price, this is hands down the best hotel you can find in Ethiopia. I truly can’t recommend it enough!

Abyssinia Hotel comes highly recommended. While it may not be on par with 4- or 5-star hotels, it's certainly not bad at all. The hotel is satisfactory. The staff's service is superb - welcoming and supportive. However, I suggest they consider labeling their food options during breakfast. One area for improvement is the lingering smell of cigarettes in the bedroom corridors, which I found unpleasant. Additionally, the hotel could enhance its cleaning and maintenance culture, particularly regarding the windows and curtains. This would give them a competitive edge.
