Clean, modern, and conveniently located near the Alewife T station, the AC Hotel in Cambridge is a great choice for business or leisure. The rooms are sleek and quiet, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. The bar and lounge area is a nice bonus, and the on-site parking is a plus. Overall, a solid, stylish stay just outside Boston
We recently stayed one night at a hotel located about 30 to 45 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport. The area is very nice—quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is big, neat, and visually appealing. Our room was clean and well-maintained, which added to our overall comfort. However, the check-in process was disappointing. We waited for over an hour because the front desk staff had difficulty locating our reservation. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of initiative from the staff member assisting us. Instead of actively helping to resolve the issue, she seemed indifferent, simply insisting that the confirmation number we provided didn’t look valid because it was shorter than their usual format. Only after we insisted she try entering it did she finally find our booking. Despite that hiccup, our short stay was pleasant overall. If not for the poor check-in experience, this hotel would have earned a much higher rating from us. Still, it’s a recommendable place to stay, especially for those looking for a clean and quiet environment close—but not too close—to the city.
Rooms were nice, location is great as it is close to the red line. However access by car is quite difficult. Sleeper sofa is atrocious at best you would be better off sleeping on the floor. Also the AC is all or none, it’s either a freezer or sauna in a room. I expected better out of a higher end Marriott.
