AC Hotel by Marriott Burgos

Really well appointed hotel. Rooms were good size although my only negative observation was the shower in our room was over a spa bath and the water went everywhere so not ideal. Location wise though it was perfect, a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral and on the edge of the old town where all the restaurants were. Underground parking is a bit tight to get into, especially in my Porsche.

The location was perfect, and the room was excellent. The large table by the window with two chairs was ideal for my husband and daughter to relax and do some drawing together. Since it was Easter, we were lucky to see the **Semana Santa** procession passing along the river right outside our window. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. The only downside? The parking. Even my Spanish husband, who’s very used to driving and parking, struggled with it quite a bit. As for me—I wouldn’t even attempt it. Just a heads-up!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the hotel AC Burgos. It is the perfect location to access everything we love about Burgos. Our only complaint is the design of the hotel room doors which almost inevitably result in the heavy metal doors slamming and rattling the brains of occupants in the neighboring rooms. Not only did the door slamming wake us up after midnight, they woke us up again before 7:00 AM. It appears to be a design flaw which must have a remedy.
