AC Hotel by Marriott Charlotte SouthPark

We hosted our wedding at the South Park Marriott on July 3rd, and it was a beautiful and memorable event. Details: We spent around $8,000 after taxes and fees for nearly 50 guests. This included food (no alcohol) and the rental of the ceremony space. The food tasting experience, where we selected our menu, was elegant and fun—a definite highlight of the planning process! We got ready in the spacious Presidential Suite, which was perfect for our wedding party. After the ceremony, we took photos throughout the hotel and the nearby shopping galleria, which offered fantastic backdrops. Note: Cold sparks and low-lying fog aren’t permitted, so we used bubbles for our send-off—it was a sweet and joyful touch. Tip: When booking rooms for yourself or your guests, be sure to use the government rate, if applicable —it’s a great way to save. Our guests had a great time, and we’re so thankful for how everything came together. We would definitely recommend the South Park Marriott for couples looking for a modern, elegant venue in a convenient location.

One of the nicer Marriott properties I've stayed at. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have an upscale feeling without the hefty price tag. Beds are extremely comfortable. The M Club is excellent, a big deal for us business travelers. A great place to stay while in Charlotte on business or while vacationing with the family. Highly recommended.

We stayed here twice while passing through states. The location is perfect, surrounded by the charm of Charlotte. Our rooms were very clean and minimal noise, even when we were placed in a room right by the elevators. We traveled with our 6 month old and I was nervous about us staying in a hotel with a baby but we brought our own noise machine and pack n’ play. The room is very dark once the curtains are closed which is nice. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, decent hair dryer. The restaurant inside the hotel is nice also. There’s a Mexican restaurant walking distance from hotel that we tried too and it was good. The only “complaint” is the pack n’ play they provide is a little dated, so we decided to use the one we brought with us instead. My baby slept through the night both times so it was a success. I would stay here again if/when we visit this beautiful city. We really had no complaints.
