AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre

The staff were very friendly, allowed us to check in early. The rooms were very clean and the AC worked well to keep us cool. The bar was well presented and modern, the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to stay here again. The main positives were the excellent staff, cleanliness, air conditioning, good bar and beer, and finally the location was close/walking distance to Victoria Station. Minor criticism: the bed/mattress was a bit hard but got a good night sleep anyway.

Not nice the surrounding area atall. Does not feel safe. Bed was rock hard. Breakfast was nice staff were brilliant and accommodating. Mini fridge was a good addition. The fitness suite needs improvement it was absolutely roasting in there, the AC was never on. Nice modern hotel though feel like somewhere you would want to stay. Had a meal and dessert from the restaurant and was nice too. Would appreciate some better coffee options in the room for the price we pay, tea offerings were nice though.

Stayed here for one night while in town for the Oasis concert. Overall was satisfied, and loved the little touch with the lyrics on the bed! Check in was easy (I messaged before to check if the room was ready early and they responded promptly). The room was expected, however it didn’t seem properly cleaned. There were a few stains on the bench, and the smoke detector had a shower cap on it. The AC could have been more powerful (although I was there during one of the hottest weekends in the history of Manchester). Other than those items, I enjoyed my stay and the location was very convenient + walk friendly.
