Overall, my trip was good. The room was nicely cleaned most days (weirdly received a halfway cleaning one day in the middle), the bed was decently comfortable. Toilet seat was loose and the towels were really thin and scratchy feeling. Only one elevator worked for room floors so getting to your room after the convention center let out for the day took forever!!! The front desk team was really nice, they assured me they were taking care of my billing issue with accounting. I have yet to see that resolved but hopefully it's done. Bottles of water at check-in were greatly appreciated and the water/ice machines on each floor were awesome. Walkable for food - both great sit-down and takeout options. Close to convention center. Would stay here again for the lower price and Marriott points.

Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms. The shower doesn't get very hot and our sink was clogged. The lobby is very nice but there are events in the evening so not really able to enjoy that space. We will definitely give this place another try.

I’ve stayed here twice for work trips near the convention center. Overall the hotel is fine. Highly walkable to the National Mall and several restaurants. The fitness center is excellent. Overall though, the service level and experience just don’t match the price tag. On my most recent trip, there were a number of issues. There was only one functional elevator for a 13 story hotel. Every elevator ride was a long wait, and then a very crowded elevator. Also, when I checked in, the key system wasn’t working. I couldn’t get in my room, so I called the desk, and I was told I’d need to wait by my door and someone would come let me in. I waited over 15 minutes, wasn’t let it, so I left for dinner. When I came back, I was given new keys and was able to access my room. The next day, my key didn’t work again, so I had to go down to the lobby for another new set of keys (my digital key was never set up by the front desk even though they said they would). The hotel is nice, the location is great, but I’ll be going for a different Marriott property in the area on future trips to DC. Would not recommend.
