We were given a room on the second floor and it had a terrace with a wonderful view of the cathedral and downtown toledo. The hotel is quiet,AC is cool, breakfast is fresh and delicious. It is a fifteen minute walk to downtown area but it's not to bad. We used the walk to burn off dessert every night. Enjoy.
Toledo is an ancient wall city with virtually no parking and a tremendous amount of up and down tiny cobblestone streets. We’d liked this hotel because it was roughly 1 mile from downtown and sat on a Hill across the gorge with an amazing view of downtown. Even though I had a rental car, I never attempted to drive. I rode public transportation into town and usually called a cab back to the hotel. The hotel is not modern, but it has a retro charm and the rooms were spacious and well appointed and the staff was eager to help.the views are amazing. I’m titanium with Marriott and think for an AC hotel it’s hard to beat.
Quaint hotel with stunning views. Bit of a walk 28 to 35 minutes depending on your pace. The staff are so wonderful ❤️ wish there was a kettle in the room.
