AC Hotel Diagonal L'Illa by Marriott

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were bright, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to everything we needed. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive — their service truly made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the AC Hotel Diagonal. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with the added bonus of being conveniently connected to the mall—perfect for shopping and dining. A special shout-out to Izi at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us when we accidentally left our phone in a cab. Her quick thinking and kind assistance made a huge difference. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this hotel, located in my favorite neighborhood in Barcelona—an area that is calm, charming, and very well-connected. The tram and bus stops are conveniently located just outside, making it easy to explore the city. While the receptionist initially gave me incorrect information regarding the bus stop, it was easy to locate once I stepped outside. Breakfast was satisfying, though I would suggest including more seasonal fruits to enhance the experience. Unfortunately, I experienced a bout of food poisoning during my stay. Since I also dined outside the hotel, I cannot confirm the source. The highlight of my stay was the excellent service from Marianne at the reception—she was exceptionally kind, helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcome. On the downside, there was a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the building, particularly around carpeted areas. Additionally, the provided shampoo triggered an allergic reaction, which is unusual for me, as I typically have no sensitivities. Overall, the location and staff make this hotel worth considering, but there is room for improvement in facilities and amenities.
