We arrived late into Florence Airport and were able to get a reservation at this beautiful property using our Marriott Bonvoy points. It is exquisite! Charming, contemporary lobby with clean rooms. In Italy they are generous with their amenities but not towels so you may have to request more. We had a wonderful stay our first night in Italy!

Overall great hotel. Nice location in Florence because it’s not too much in the city where it is very busy but very close to everything (also not in a ZTL zone). Seems very new and was clean. Got the one bedroom suite which was reasonably priced, good size, and modern. There was no door for the bathroom, only doors for the toilet and shower, just to take into consideration. One thing I wish is that since AC is part of Marriott, they should offer free breakfast for high level members. They did give a $20 credit and free drink though

The AC Hotel in Florence has undergone a recent renovation, and the lobby, bar, and restaurant areas all look sleek and modern. We stayed in the top-tier one-bedroom suite, which was stylish with some great views of the city. However, the layout had a few design flaws—particularly in the bathroom, where some of the fixtures didn’t align well with the plumbing, and the suite lacked a true privacy door between the living area and bedroom. One major disappointment was the lack of complimentary breakfast, especially as a Marriott Titanium member. At nearly $500 a night, offering breakfast would have been a small gesture compared to other Marriott properties that include it without question. On the plus side, they did honor the 4 p.m. late checkout, which was appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located outside the ZTL zone, which makes it convenient for those driving, and there’s secure garage parking available for €18 per day. While the metro is right outside the hotel, we didn’t use it since we had a car. Overall, it’s a nice, modern hotel with good service, and very convenient parking garage but small details—like breakfast for elite members—could make the experience more complete.
