AC Hotel Padova by Marriott

The hotel is located few minutes from the bus stop to Venezia,which for our purpose of visit was great. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Housekeeping is at its best level. We also had two dinners in the restaurant and we want to say special thanks to Marta who was extremely professional and she made our stay in AC even better.

Overall to expeced standard hotel. Staff were generally friendly and helpful - though there was one receptionist who was not gracious at all - verging on aggressive. Her bar colleagues more than made up for it, going out of their way to be helpful and make recommendations. The room was an ok size but storage limited - we stayed a week. The bar has limited hours and the restaurant is only open certain evenings. Location is far from town but this does mean there are some good local restaurants. Bus stop is about 0.5km away - for venice airport or into town. There is a train line opposite which causes some diversions if walking.

Staff is friendly and breakfast is good enough. Fresh bakes are really good. Hotel is ok ok. Hotel is quite old, you can see that in carpets and towels(you see so much wear and „tear“) and cleaning staff knocks and wakes you up even if you want to sleep in ;) so, inform them early enough if you are planning to wake up late. If you’re driving, it’s best located close to highway but if you are dependent on public transportation, it’s a bit outskirts and takes half an hour to just get to the railway station.
