AC Hotel Porto by Marriott

Stayed here for two nights in a standard room with 3 twin beds. The room was bright, clean and pretty spacious. However, there was no available kettle and coffee/tea and you had to request for them at no charge. Breakfast was worth paying for with a substantial spread, although it could do better with faster top ups. What I loved best about this hotel was the location. It's next to Alamada shopping mall, which had good shopping options. It's also within walking distance to the Estádio do Dragão metro station, 3-4 stops away from the city centre. I would rather take the metro to the city centre than drive there. Those driving can also park in front of the hotel for free, but there are limited lots available.

Clean, efficient hotel close to Alameda shopping. Had a few small issues when we checked in, but the staff fixed it quickly and efficiently when we asked at the front desk. It isn't close to the sights and downtown Porto, but was just a short ride away from downtown and then we just spent the whole day out. The staff were phenomenal! The water pressure was great! No noise and the free parking out front was much appreciated! The breakfast was decent for 14€ per adult. Not the greatest variety but good for the price.

A pleasant surprise in Porto before flying out Last year, after finishing the chess festival in Ponte de Lima, I stayed here before flying out of Porto. Initially, I didn’t have particularly high expectations, but the experience turned out to be surprisingly good. The room was very spacious and well-designed, with a refined, minimalist aesthetic that felt comfortable and calm. I especially appreciated the writing desk by the window — a thoughtful and elegant detail that made the space feel both functional and relaxing. Although it was just a short stay, AC Hotel Porto exceeded my expectations and left me with a very positive impression. A great choice for a layover in Porto.
