AC Hotel Som by Marriott

The hotel is very nice and perfect for tourists in Spain. Although a bit away from the center of the city, the metro and bus connectivity is great. The staff is amazing: Especially Anna at the front desk. I asked for some cutlery and she helped me with such a big smile. The housekeeping staff is good too and the rooms are spotless after we come back in the night. The rooms has electric kettles, fridge and a lot of toiletries. Only thing is I wish they replaced the coffee cups by themselves everyday (we had to ask for it, they immediately delivered it) and the TV should support streaming because it is such a huge TV but it doesn’t allow streaming which is bad.

We recently stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott in Barcelona and had a wonderful experience. It’s a great little hotel—very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for our needs, situated conveniently halfway between the airport and the cruise port, which made our travel plans smooth and stress-free. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Barcelona.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a quick stop over in Barcelona. Overall the hotel is adequate and has a convenient location. As a Bonvoy platinum member I was expecting the free breakfast member benefit however at check-in I was just informed that the hotel does not participate in this offer without any further explanation. It seems as though the ownership of this particular hotel is happy to receive the benefits of being part of the Marriott brand but is not willing to honour and participate fully in the Bonvoy loyalty program. If this hotel treats some of most loyal Bonvoy members like this I certainly can not recommend this hotel.
