I like the current standard of the Marriott hotels. Comfortable bed. Nice lighting. Smart TV. Close to lots of cafes and attractions. Luxury surroundings. A bar fridge. Basic coffee making facility in room. Unfortunately there are major roadworks out front of the hotel and nobody let google maps know. Once we found a parking spot, allegedly belonging to another nearby hotel, the garage was easy to access. There is a €12 / night charge. Like many hotels in Spain there is no air conditioning which means the nights can be a bit hot in these rooms.
I checked in on the night of Nov19th,the girl at frontdesk is very very good. Hospitality!!!In most time,I’m not satisfied with the hotel frontdesk a,the service ,the the knowledge about their own hotel membership benefits, and the checking In efficiency.but the girl at this front desk is very good, fast and know well about the platinum +membership benefits. Room are clean with slippers in 325room,No tissue/facial paper. the biggest problem for me is that there is not heating in the toilet, and the AC in the room doesn’t work very well,it is a little bit warm ,not hot at night. It is my first time to live in AC hotel and also my first time to live in a Marriott brand hotel outside US.in US,even in Springhill,Fairfield,I will have 1-2 free breakfast, but here, there is no Free breakfast for Marriott Platinum ++members ,credit or points. breakfast is 15Euro. So ,for platinum +members, maybe live in a Marriott hotel with the executive room is better decision although a bit expensive. Im and if you have a big luggage, like 28”,it is not easy to walk to the hotel.
We made a last minute reservation on the Mariott app. The entire area around the hotel is under construction and finding access to the entrance is challenging, especially at night. I rang the hotel and Javier was rude and sparky and completely unwilling to help. He made fun of the fact that we were lost. Tha area around the hotel, construction not withstanding, is pretty bad. No decent places to eat and it feels pretty sketchy. The rooms are just okay. Clean with a decent amount of space. TV is limited and has no English language programming, not even BBC or CNN. Bathroom is dangerous: very high tub with no grab bars and very slippy surface.
