Acaya Golf Resort & Spa

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to go golfing. We experienced a few issues that would cause us not to return. First, there is nowhere to get food between lunch and 7pm, which if you are golfing all day, isn’t ideal. The rooms are also horribly insulated, so you hear literally everything around you. They only give you one bottle of water for your entire stay, once that bottle is gone you have to purchase more from them at 2 euro a bottle.

The golf was good, clubhouse was lovely. The staff was excellent and the food. The hotel was very expensive. But staff in the bar and restaurant were rude. Only one restaurant at night which was a la carte and very poor food.

Really mixed feelings about this place. Amenities are incredible, from the golf course to the spa and the swimming pool, all top notch. The rooms were also very nice. The service was really lacking, the personnel was not really interested in helping or attending to the guests, for the price you would have expected it though. The eating options were a catastrophe, there were no eating options from breakfast to dinner, and dinner personnel was very unprofessional, taking plates while people are still eating, taking hours to start delivering the food etc. Great stopp for golfing.
