Acel Beach Resort

Cordial and friendly staff and animators,management always smiling and friendly. Beautiful reef and sunshine in February, which made me wonderfully relaxed during this nice holiday. Without crowds, noise and lots of stimuli. It was also important to me that there was no waste of food and resources there, something we should pay attention to in our choices. In many aspects the care for the environment caught my eye. I hope that after the renovations and the time of change, this attitude of caring for resources will not change.

If you want to spend relaxing holidays with or without kids this hotel might be your choice! This hotel is not the newest and you can see that in small details when it comes to the rooms and some parts of the hotel. Nonetheless the company started renovations and some rooms are fully renovated already! My last stay (end of Sep - Mid Oct 2023) was just as I remember from 9 years ago..! It is a very nice facility with a lot of flowers, palm trees, trees and especially animals! The coral reefs is directly at the hotels own beach. You can see a huge diversity of fishes, stingrays, shells,… snorkelling or diving is highly recommended! I’ll give 4/5 but if the company keeps renovations going and enhances the food the hotel will deserve 5! Additionally I highly recommend visiting the nearby city El Quseir, its said to be the oldest fishermen village of Egypt. Seeing these contrasts might not be for everyone. Anyway it is definitely worth having that short trip about 15-20 min from the hotel.

The hotel is spotless, especially the rooms. The beach is as warm as a jacuzzi, and there are many various types of fishes and coral reefs on the surface, so you don't need to spend money on snorkeling. My main concern was the food; they don't offer plenty of options, only a few, and the food isn't the best for all meals. The night shows are also fantastic, especially the Tanoura, which we have enjoyed as a family. This hotel gets a 7 out of 10.
