Achat Hotel Budapest

Very satisfied with hotel service and friendly staff. We stayed in a room with neighborhood view which was quite quiet, tidy and clean. Room included set for making coffee/tea. There was also offered varied breakfast. I also have to praise usage of parking garage. Only on the last day when we returned back in the room after breakfast our room card was already blocked half an hour before check out time, but by staff this issue was quickly resolved. For our reason to stay here location of hotel was a little bit inconvenient - to HungExpo we needed approx. half an hour by walk, but for the first time overall experience was very good.

The staff in the reception area wasn't very helpful, we booked twin-beds for 2 rooms and called to the hotel before our trip to ensure we got twin beds. Upon arrival there was only queen beds available. The safe in the room was broken, but we were told it couldn't be fixed until next week. The tiles in the bathroom were loose and there were plenty of bodyhair on the bathroom floor. The location is far away from the city center. The elevators were great though.

Establishment doesn’t provide central air year round. In moments when the weather is nice the management won’t provide this service. Windows do open and tilt however, BUT every means of traffic is outside your windows except airplanes. 6 lanes of traffic in addition to bike and walk lane. In addition you are close enough for the smokers out to be smelt. Video is on a Saturday morning at 7:05am. Probably the worst of the sounds passing by are the sirens. We were woken multiple times in the night. Positive note, close to lots of bus lines and tram lines.
