ACHAT Hotel Frankfurt Maintal

We were checked into this hotel late at night thanks to the unreliable airline Lufthansa. The staff at this hotel had to process lots of people rather late at night and did a great job. Despite the stress and pressure on them they were all calm and still smiling and very helpful. They provided a lovely meal at very short notice and breakfast was super. Although a rather dated hotel it was very clean and staff were very welcoming which made it a pleasant short stay.

Hotel is listed as 4* but I think this rating is very dated. The hotel feels quite dated, restaurant and seating is more like a canteen. Breakfast is adequate but not lavish. Rooms are basic but large and clean, beds are comfortable, but hard floors are quite noisy, you could hear people in rooms around you moving around. Aircon is extremely good. Shower was not climate controlled so did go hot and cold while using it. WiFi is free but is extremely slow and keeps stopping or cutting out. Location is fairly remote, you would need to travel to find any restaurants etc and the property is located in a housing estate. There is parking on site.

RACIST! We HAVE TO eat inside a different room with very ugly tables and chairs, while the German eats at the main dining hall with fancier vibe. 🤔 Rep: There were many available tables at the hall, but you guys didn't allow us to sit outside when we tried to, at least we could sit at the hall when we wanted to. Besides, there were not enough chairs for us in the conference room later on.
