Great location right on Sinclair Bay. Had everything we needed for a great 4 day stay.

Great several days until the last day monies had already been paid but arguments about where monies had been paid between someone called Lee Gunn and the owner left a very bitter taste would not recommend on this basis.

Had to book and pay for 5 days, needed only 4, and in the end stayed 3 due to commitments. On entry the property was cold, dirty, and had a mass of black flies on the window sills. After a clean up, we weren’t sure about sleeping in the beds! Even the wood lice in the bedroom looked cold! Owner was the most unhelpful and insulting person we’ve dealt with in a long time. He stays in England and hasn’t been near the property in over 2 years! So happy to take your money. Our friends stayed at “The Waves” nearby, and for the same cost had luxury for 7 days. There are no Covid measures in place, and even a sign on the fridge suggesting to leave unused food for the next guests. The property obviously hadn’t been lived in for sometime, despite the owner saying it was occupied the day before. When a local man turned up to apologise, he confirmed no-one had been there for over a week! Not even the cleaner. I really don’t do bad reviews, but even tripadvisor got involved, assured us initially we would get a refund, then a partial refund, then they found the owner difficult to deal with and washed their hands of the matter. So hence a review. It really is only one star. Little things like - cutlery looks like it has been nicked from the local cafe, and no real sets of crockery. Pluses - location although no view from inside the house. Quiet, but there is a house attached next door. In case you think this is a knee jerk reaction. Our trip was several weeks ago. and had time to think. So rant over now, very disappointed as I visit for family but certainly won’t be using this one again.
