Acqua Strande Yachthotel & Restaurant

We tried several restaurants in this area and this one was by far the best. The staff is extremely friendly and even though the place was packed both times we ate there it didn’t take long to order and to receive the food. Reservations are a must! It is apparently well-known that the place is good.

Updated 2024: still no non-dairy milk and better vegan option Good hotel, nice staff, but no real vegan options except marmelade for breakfast. Would love some vegan veggie spreads, tofu, chickpeas, and hummus.

At the advice of our local hotel, we rushed to the Aqua Hotel Restaurant for a late dinner having arrived at our destination much later than expected. It had been a long day of travel. We were a party of two. We entered the restaurant at 9:38 pm, but were told by a young male waiter or server that the kitchen was closed. Upon asking various restaurants on the way down the strand, they directed us to the Acqua and seemed surprised that we had been turned away. The One Star review is due to the inconsistent hours. Their website says they serve dinner until 10:00pm. The experience left us wishing we had skipped putting our bags in our hotel room - with the 12 minutes to spare, perhaps we might have eaten at a neighboring restaurant that served until 9:30 pm.
