A wonderful stay with hospitable people and above-expectation rooms. While on a school trip with my University, we had the privilege to stay at the Acropolian Spirit for just over a week. Placed right on an active road, this hotel creates a great environment for exploration and being immersed in the Greek experience. A five-minute walk to the base of the Acropolis, my class was very pleased with the location and service provided. We were allowed to completely take over spaces that were meant to be communal for hours at a time, and were even granted a chance to use their very nice wine cellar basement for a lecture. The owners and operators do a wonderful job at upkeep, and the service beat my expectations. The breakfast was also amazing, and had a variety of options, even for vegetarians like myself. Fresh fruit, wonderful baked goods, and eggs that I was incredibly pleased with, so much that I asked for the recipe. Plus, a perfect view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant. What a great way to start the day. The rooms had well-regulated air, were comfortable, and allowed for many great bonding experiences. Many of us students were able to meet and speak with other travelers as well, all of whom were friendly and full of their own stories. The front desk team members were very helpful and accommodating when my luggage was delayed and had to be shipped late. They had already placed it in my room when I arrived back at the hotel one day, very hospitable and above expectations. My only complaint is that the showers don't have doors - but that seems like a constant with Greek showers, so no points off - just a warning! Absolutely worth a stay here if you visit Athens.
Great boutique hotel. Fabulous position. Walking distance to everything. Great staff and the food was really good. Highly recommend staying here. Only downside, the rooms were quite compact. Otherwise, everything was really good. Rooftop restaurant was amazing views to the acropolis.
My fiance and I just completed a few nights at this boutique hotel and it was a nice stay. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. The breakfast is included and buffet style on the top floor which has a view of the Acropolis. The rooms and overall hotel felt very clean. The location was not bad and a decent walk to many local restaurants, shopping, and The Acropolis. Our room had an acropolis view and it wasn’t partial/blocked by other buildings which was nice. We had seen a few staff and some were very kind to smile, say hello, and offer advice for things to do. We did not have an iron in the room but asked for one and got it right away. The balcony’s were a pretty good size.
