Acti Plaka Hotel

Great place to stay! We were very warmly welcomed and greatly enjoyed our stay! Right in front of a stunning beach!

We go here every year and enjoy the nature of naxos at this beautiful place. It’s near town (10-20min with car) and centrally positioned at the west coast of Naxos. The beach is literally 20m away and the pool has a great view of the Sea! Between the ocean and the hotel is a small hill (1-2m high), so the surf of the waves isn’t that loud in the night. It’s a nudist beach. For the people that don’t like nudity, can walk a few meters to the left, where a small beach bar is located. The rooms are beautifully decorated and offer a full equipped kitchen and beautiful balcony. There is a grill free to use for all guests. Coal and fish tongs are on site. Overall, It’s the perfect hotel to discover Central naxos and I would really recommend!

I think 2 stars is extremely generous. The room we stayed in featured an uncovered unboxed in waste pipe from upstairs room which was directly above our bed. Great if you want to listen to toilets flushing all times of day and night. I would not recommend staying in downstairs rooms with this ridiculous feature. Whoever did this was mad as a box of frogs. Also worth noting is the beach in front of hotel is nudist friendly if that’s what you want but not really child friendly
