Room is spacious. Cleaning is good. Location is nice. Room heating is amazing. City tax is annoying, just like the smokers smoking outside the living room balcony :( Staff is very friendly.

We visited in December 2024. Location is amazing but otherwise guest house did not meet expectations. The room was clean, bed was comfortable BUT there was mold in the bathroom (and not just a little). It’s unacceptable and pretty much ruined the impression. Cleaner would come every day to change towels and do small tidying, which is good, but some still remained. The walls are very thin, you can hear every sneeze of your neighbour. Not good for people with sensitive sleep. Window handle was broken in the room. The kitchen in the hallway is not in the best condition either. The electric kettle was half broken (still could use it) and the counter was not very clean often. However there was coffee machine, coffee and sugar there. On the day of our arrival, receptionist was friendly and gave us some recommendations. Since its guest house did, receptionists are at the desk not 24/7, but it was okay for us. Even though the location is absolutely great, I cannot recommend this place.

I accidentally booked this hotel after getting a concussion and immediately tried to cancel/refund but the host refused. (Host also threatened to sue me for leaving a review about my experience) As the host points out below, I have not actually stayed at this property, but I did interact with the host and found them to be extremely confrontational and difficult to communicate with. To address his other point: I inquired about a cancellation/refund within 30min of my accidental booking and it wasn’t finalized until 14hrs later because I was waiting for the host to respond.
